My 1st 100 cupcakes

Puji Tuhan Allah segala kuasa, dari akhir bulan kemarin sampe sekarang Tuhan beri saya kesempatan untuk banyak belajar dalam hal perkuean - biar bisa naik kelas, hehehehe

Last month one of my beloved sisters, Yenni, give me a challenge "Berani tah terima pesanan cupcake 100 biji?" waktu itu aku langsung teringat kata2 suhuku - Cie Devi Orange Cake yg bilang gini: kalo lu gak nekad, kapan lagi isane? So, dengan semangat - meskipun sambil gemeter dan sangat ketakutan aku jawab "BISA"


Figurin udah dicicil beberapa hari sebelumnya tapi tetep ga nututi kalo semuanya 3D cuma separoh yg 3D, memang ini udah aku antisipasi dari awal dan inform Yenni kalo figurinnya akan mixed 3D & 2D.


Tambah lagi, untuk base cake, aku bikin classic brownies kukus, vanilla brownies kukus and orange brownies kukus. Nah yang terakhir ini bener2 proyek nekad karena aku punya stock coklat orange di rumah. Aku sempet2 nanya ke Ce Devi gimana bikin lemon cake, lha kok cari essence lemon sak mojokerto gak ada :'( - mengharukan


So dengan nekad, aku akhirnya pake nutrisari florida orange + susu bubuk dancow full cream untuk ganti coklat bubuknya . Puji Tuhan, jadinya enak, menul2.


Untuk figurin, karena sembarang bakulnya, maka bakulnya bikin beberapa tema - sekalian latihan hehehehe
Untuk yg 2D: aku bikin pake cookie cutter bunga + kupu2, untuk yg 3D: ada angry birds, bees, cute animals, cute mermaid, cute bees, cute fairies.

Untuk yg mermaid ini similar with my Vanya's BDCK cuma ada tambahan gaya baru si pinky - pake konde cepol hehehehe.

 I looveeee all these bees so cuuteee... kalo cukup waktunya eh salah seandainya kemarin manage waktunya lebih baik, mau bikin yg kayak ginian lebih banyak lageee (pelajaran berharga !!! hehehe)

Diana's Birthday Cake

Setelah Ultah Ian kemarin, Puji Tuhan, ada temennya bojo yg mau mesen BDCK for his beloved sister.
Base cake tetep pake brokus NCC yg TOP BGT.. *-* and this one is also my 1st full fondant cake (gemetar)


Dari pemesan informasinya, adekku namanya Diana dan dia shio kelinci. Namanya juga bakul lagi belajar, so designya jadi simple banget.

Ian's Birthday Cake

Dari taon lalu pengen buatin kue Ultah sendiri untuk orang2 tersayang. Apa daya, cita2 blum tersampaikan. Tapi taon ini untuk ultah Ian - my son 3 years old - aku me"nekad"kan diri untuk harus melakukannya. 


So I chose "Noah's Ark" theme because I knew I can make the animals ^^ and the as for the cake " nekad aja bleeeh"


Here's the animals parade:


Sapinya kegendutan gara2 fondant agak mlorot. Waktu buat proporsional - cuma montok - trus waktu ditempel ke cakenya eehhh jadi montokssss.

 The white horses - awalnya mau bikin zebra. pas mau nambahi stip2nya kok ya gak pede. so be it lah... tapi tetep imut tooooh. yg bikin ga kuat poninya itu lho....

 Happy Birthday Ian. Sehat selalu, panjang umur, tambah sayang papi, mami, cece Vanya, keluarga, teman2 dan terutama Tuhan. God bless you abundantly as He always does. I love you son.

My First Order ^_^

One day my Baking Tutor - Cie Devi called me and ask me a great favor (read: challenge me) to make horse made of fondant and send some pictures for idea boosting :). And I said OK, I'll do it but after that I got really nervous.


Since I really am a true beginner for the sort of things, so start googling around and trying to get the cutest but simplest figurines to make (hahahahha...)


Then the customer, wants to have a barnyard cake meaning: not only horse but several type of farm animals .... googling again and finally, I made this one first:

When I submit the figurines ... C Devi said "Lawuucuuu" Sooo cute...
